Where's Summer?

Here it is June 30th and the high today isn't going to even hit 70! This is our time to get out to enjoy the warm weather, and here in the suburbs of Chicago we get 70. Are you kidding me! Where that global warming? I want my summer! We earned it here. We put up with the cold & dreariness of winter, we now should get our reward. After all we only get a few short months of warm weather, so don't deny us. I don't care, I am still wearing shorts, well maybe capris. But I refuse to put on long pants during these 3 months. It's summer & I want to bask in the sun. It won't be too long before we have to close up and get ready for that winter hibernation where we don't see our neighbors for months.
