Off to Camp!

Yep, They're off!!

My youngest son & youngest daughter, left this morning for a week long sleep away cabin camp known as Rez. Camp. They love it there. Who wouldn't. They have activities & games packed into their scheduled filled days as well as some quiet & down time to recharge for the fun filled night ahead. There's the pool with the water slides, an art hut, fishing & canoeing in the lake. Cool covered bridges that they run thru to cross a river and hills that they can slip & slide down on. Actually they take large plastic sheeting that's rolled down the hill & at least 10 feet wide, they then run hoses, so the water keeps it wet & put soap on it to make it go fast! It's one of funnest things they talk about, but it can also be the one that makes them come home with black n blue battle scars. Yeah, just think about it. Then there's the cool activities like doing zip lines thru the forest trees.

Did I happen to say that I am thrilled that they have so much to do and that they love being there. However, I'm thrilled at the welcome peace around here. Not nearly as much sibling bickering to listen to. Hardly any really. And, I get to jump into some projects without having to help or entertain or drive, umm be a mom & I have 2 less kids around. My other daughter that does not want to go to Rez. Camp has booked herself sleepovers & a 2 day/night stay at Grammie's. My oldest, well he's starting HS this year & is taking summer school to get ahead, so he's gone 7am-12 noon, followed by football from 1-3. He's busy & easy. Which means I have basically 2 1/2 days to get something big done around the house. Where to start, where to start.
