And Where Are We?.....

Look Around....

Where does it look like we are?  Miami?

Did you guess it right?

We are right here in downtown Chicago

In the short-lived hot summer month of August.

And for a short while,

we can imagine what it would be like to live in the south again

near a beach.

But I have to say,

This area really changes with the seasons.

And -

when summer is here in the Chicago area,

They really live it up and appreciate the short-lived warm outdoors, and live life fully outside.

Well, unless you are lugging 4 nagging kids behind you

 and daddy is working all day

The Trip Home

In New York, we went to a few parties,
met lots of new brands
and companies too
and well...
We ended up bringing home alot more than we came with.

This is how our car was packed for the trip home to Chicago from BlogHer New York!

I absolutely loved the Chevy Traverse and would highly reccommend it.

It was roomy and comfortable for our cross country trip.
